Gerard Malanga's simultaneous careers as poet/ photographer/ filmmaker have brought him a large international following for his work.

He worked closely with Andy Warhol during the artist's most creative period in the mid-Sixties. The New York Times referred to him as "Warhol's most important associate."

Gerard Malanga, with the Belgian group, 48 Cameras, has produced one CD, Three Weeks With My Dog. Also available is the CD, Gerard Malanga Up From the Archives, from Sub Rosa, comprised of tapes from his personal audio collection and including commissioned tracks by Iggy Pop and Thurston Moore.

He is now available for key bookings across the country at universities, art centers and museums.
